Bespoke furniture and joinery crafted in the Wito Projects Johannesburg workshop

Founded in 2012, Wito Projects was born in the heart of a carpenter’s workshop. Our founding team grew up with the scent of sawdust and timber, and turned a deep respect for the family trade into a brand built on craftsmanship, innovation, and refined interior excellence.

What started as a passion for timber and construction has grown into a full-service interior design and bespoke installation studio. We now deliver environments that balance aesthetics, durability, and everyday function.

We specialise in high-end bespoke work: luxury shop fittings, custom displays, cabinetry, modern office partitions, and full-scale residential renovations. Every project is a collaboration — your vision and our technical precision working together.

Our process is built on transparency, clear planning, and hands-on craftsmanship. From concept to final installation, we make sure every detail reflects the quality and intention you expect.

How we design, build, and install

From first conversation to final styling, every Wito Projects commission follows a structured path—transparent planning, workshop fabrication at Booysens, and controlled installation across Johannesburg and Gauteng.

  1. Consultation

We listen to your vision, functional needs, and budget. Every residential kitchen, office fit-out, or bespoke furniture brief starts with understanding how you live or work.

  2. Concept & planning

Mood boards, materials, spatial plans, and technical drawings refined until the direction is right—before wet trades close walls or services routes.

  3. Craft & fabrication

Our workshop brings concepts to life with premium materials, expert joinery, and uncompromising attention to detail on cabinetry, feature walls, and custom pieces.

  4. Install & handover

Professional on-site installation, final styling, care guidance, and snagging so your space is ready to use—not just photographed.

14+ years in Gauteng

Established in 2012, Wito Projects (formerly Tapa Interior Designs) has delivered bespoke interiors across residential and commercial sectors—from Sandton apartments to Rosebank offices and Randburg kitchens.

In-house workshop

Custom fabrication at 35 Koster Street, Booysens gives us quality control over edges, hardware, and finishes—whether the brief is a wine cellar, reception desk, or full kitchen run.

End-to-end management

From concept through installation we oversee programme, contractor coordination, and technical trades when a turnkey renovation requires it. See our renovation journey guide.
