The clients wanted a dedicated entertaining zone for glassware and bottles without cluttering the main living sightlines in an open-plan Roodepoort home that still needed calm weeknight living.
Display and containment had to balance: collection pieces on show, everyday glassware behind doors, and a bar top that does not overpower the living room when the lights are down for dinner.
Storm Grey painted shaker doors, LED-ready display niches, and wine and glass storage logic were fabricated in Booysens. Stone or compact-laminate bar top options were locked with the drawings, with ventilation-aware gaps where needed.
The run was installed as a contained zone so open-plan living still reads as the main room. Lighting in the niches is ready for a later fit without opening the carcasses again on site.
