The existing layout under-used wall space, and appliance zones competed for attention. Continuous planes and quiet hardware had to replace a patchwork of boxes that made the living room feel busy.
Super-matte petrol blue joinery with soft-close hardware and brushed metal bar pulls was cut in Booysens. White quartz-style worktops, a subway-tile splashback, and a glass-front wall cabinet were specified as one sculptural volume.
The integrated oven, hob, and stainless chimney hood were locked to the carcass drawings before production. Continuous planes keep weeknight cleaning simple and stop the living area from filling with visual noise.
