The family wanted a playful yet organised Bryanston bedroom that could grow with the child. Toys, homework, and sleepovers had to fit without sharp corners or a room that looked permanently cluttered.
Joinery needed to scale from toddler years toward teens without a full redesign, with finishes that are easy to clean and hardware that survives daily slamming better than decorative show-house fittings.
Adjustable shelving, eased joinery edges, and robust hardware were fabricated in Booysens. Low-VOC finishes were specified where required so the room can be used as soon as install is snagged and cleaned down.
The bed nook and storage wall were installed as one run, reclaiming floor area and quieting visual clutter. Shelf heights can move as the child grows, so the same carcasses stay in the room for years.
